ITA. It is an amazing piece and you should really consider doing it for money because there is money to be had in cool paintings like this!

I basically paint "for fun" or if I feel like my home needs a little something ... friends who've seen the stuff I've done for myself have asked me to paint them pieces for their homes. 


Sometimes I will trade for other favors (like helping me move) or will give a painting as a wedding gift or whatever. In this case, my friend paid me. She found a picture of what she wanted and I recreated it (putting my own touches on it, of course).


I had to post a picture since this was the first time I actually "sold" my work.

that painting is fantastic!! You did a great job. I've been thinking about taking painting classes for years...I think I'm actually inspired now to do it..


 


and I agree with FP your friends couch is nice...I'm actually looking for something similar...

Wow!  Congrats on selling your first piece!  It's beautiful--you definitely have some talent there!


I agree with the others that the painting really finishes the room.  It's a pretty room to begin with, but your painting really ties everything together.  Looks great!
