So, hubby and I are seriously considering buying a house sooner than later.  We're looking online, but not finding much that we're interested in that's affordable for us.  I was hoping that working with a real estate agent might bring us better luck - maybe they'd have better resources for searching?  And know about properties that aren't listed online?

So, how do I go about finding a good one?  We don't know anyone that's bought recently, so no good source of recommendations there.  Do people usually meet with more than one to find someone they click with?
