Does the hardware on your bag match your jewelry?

Like metal-wise. I am just curious because I always try to do this. I feel a little weird if they don't match, like someone is going to come up to me and tell me that they don't match. This does make it so that I have set jewelry pieces that I wear with certain bags.

Nope. I've thoght about it before - but never really cared enough to actually change my jewelery and/or bag.

No, I've never even thought about it until you brought this up. I'm not very picky about my bags anyway, so maybe it's just a product of that. I don't wear bracelets, and I can't see an occasion that my bag would be up by my face so that people could even see if they were different. I'm not sure I would care even if someone noticed, though.

Mostly. I prefer white metals in everything, so I wear sterling or white gold jewelry, and many of my bags have nickel or other white metal hardware. Occasionally I love a bag enough to ignore the brass hardware, but I am really anal about the white metals.

Nope. Half the time, all of my jewelry isn't even the same metal. I love to mix metals.

No, not at all.  Mixing metals really doesn't bother me.

I never thought about it.  I don't think so, because my wedding ring and engagement ring are both platinum, but I have a bunch of bags with gold hardware.  I don't think it bothers me too much!

Back in the day--my Mother's day--you had to pay attention to your belt buckles, shoe hardware and hair accessories as well.

I used to only wear gold so this wasn't a problem. It did bother when I could only find a belt I liked with a silver buckle.

Now I'm much more adventurous. I wear mixed metal jewelry and don't give it a thought. I think it's much more important to harmonize the mood of the accessories and the total color scheme.
