  Keeping in mind I've never sewn anything lol.  Only pillows and quilt squares but I am taking a class at the beginning of next month that teaches how to sew from a pattern.  I like the dress on the far right, without the band on the bottom.

the gathers at the waist might be a bit tricky. also, i hate doing sleeves.

if you stick with cotton, it might not be bad. usually patterns specify the difficulty level. if this one says "easy" i say go for it!

If you are taking a class I think it will be all right.  I'd ask the instructor's opinon first.


I love the pattern, though!  My mom gave me a sewing machine for Christmas, and I've yet to take it out of the box .  But I may pick this one up

Thanks girls!  I didn't find a fabric I liked for the pattern today but I did find a fabric for this pattern:


  I'm going to make the wrap dress in a dark plum colored matte jersey fabric.  I'm scared!  Hancock Fabrics is having some awsome sales today so I figured I should buy both patterns today and pick up fabric for that kimono dress when I come across something I like.
