hey peeps,


so my friend is in india right now for work and she wants to get some clothes made.  she's looking for pics to give to the tailor, here is the email she just sent me:


I would like to get some new clothes made while I am in India. The tailoring here is very good and reasonably priced. I need some pictures to bring to them. Can you help me with some ideas?


I'd like a suit with a skirt - I want to wear the suit jacket with pants as well. I'm thinking that I could get the pants in a different color though. I don't want a pencil skirt- I think I want a little flare- something I can wear to an interview but is cute enough to wear to work on a regular basis too.


I also want to get a blazer made and some cropped pants to go with it. Something I can wear boots with or other shoes too. Of course I'd want the blazer to go with pants or jeans too.


I also want a dress that I could dress up or wear with a suit jacket to work. Usually a sleeveless V-neck type dress looks good on me - maybe belted or a wrap dress would be good too (flattering for the big boobies ;)

by the way, my friend is about a size 12, fair skinned w/ brown hair and blue eyes.  anyone have any ideas?

I have a suit that matches her requirements. I'll take a pic and post it up when I get a chance tomorrow.


As far as #2 I would check out BCBG for a cropped pants and blazer look. I know they had a ton of looks for spring/summer and I think in the last email I got there was some fall looks.  There stuff would be cutely cut and work in many different looks.


For #3 I will check around.  I have the same problem and was trying to find a dress earlier tonight and wasn't having too much luck online.  Nordies has some good cut examples (bad fabric) so I'll recheck while bored at work tomorrow

I didn't go look but I'm thinking maybe Nanette Lepore would have a suit that would fit the bill.
