Comfortable black heels?

Can anyone recommend some black heels that are actually comfortable?  Target ones just aren't doing the job...thanks!

I don't have a specific pair/style in mind, but Nine West are generally very comfy.

I second Nine West. They are comfy and always good for basics.

My classic pumps are Steven by Steve Madden, always good quality IMO.

For work? I got a pair at Ann Taylor awhile back and they were seriously the most comfy heels I'd ever worn. They were beautiful, too - not at all like something I'd imagine to be that comfortable. If only I hadn't messed up the heel! (I need to get them fixed but I've been too lazy to actually go to the shoe repair place. Boo.)

I've tried these on and they were comfy

BCBGirls  (bcbg)

I also just bought these from nine west and they are really comfortable.  I'm not sure why the leather looks so weird and uneven.  IRL they are more smooth like the bcbg ones above.

My coach black pumps are super comfy and hold up really well.  I highly recommend them (especially when they go on sale!).

Nine West

For some reason,  Nine West is always more comfortable on my feet than even my more expensive shoes.

I agree about Nine West. I also like Enzo Angiolini- the Nine West website actually sells the brand so I assume they're probably manufactured by the same factory, but they're sold as if they are completely separate brands in Department Stores and on Zappos.

Another option -- I own a BCBGirls pump very similar to the one Mandy posted, only it's slightly lower-heeled and doesn't dip down as much on the sides -- I believe it's called the Myrna.  I highly recommend it.  It has a grippy bottom and is very comfortable for walking!
