it kind of depends on how tall you are and whether or not you like big bags. but i know a lot of people who got 25s and ended up wanting the 30, but not many who got 30s and want 25s.

that's my longwinded way of saying get the 30!!

I was 17 when I got my Speedy 25 and I personally am one of those people who wishes that they had a 30. I think I was worried about not being able to fill it up, but that's not a problem anymore.

i'm getting the 25 when i am in paris and i've looked at both numerous times (last week being the last time). i just feel for my frame a 30 would be sooo overwhelming where the 25 "fits" me better.

I have a 30, and I love it-- even though I'm 5'4" and a 0/2. I don't think it is too big for me at all. The 25 is pretty significantly smaller. You can't go wrong either way, it is a great bag. I guess it depends on if you want a very normal-sized bag or one that is slightly oversized.
