Chloe Riding Boots ... *update* -- should i get them?
Permalink Closed

I'm drooling over these right now and they're on sale for $514:

unfortunately, i wear a size 8 and the next closest size available is a size 9.  could i possible go up one whole size and just put in some shoe inserts and wear thicker socks???  they're such a good deal and perfect for fall .... thoughts?

you should possibly try it. maybe you'll get lucky and find out it runs small.

Try it! You could always return or eBay.

Thick socks should do the trick. Especially with boots, most people size up a 1/2 size with boots anyways ...

Review them if you buy them!!

if they are european sizes, the 9 might be small anyway- i've seen 39s described as a 9, and thats more of an 8.5 imo.

do we like them, and are they a good investment?  i've been searching for a pair of riding boots for a long time, and i DO love them, but at $514, it's just not an easy purchase to make.  yes or no?

i love them and definitely think they are a good investment. i have a pair of chloe boots from last season, i think the style was called prince. anyway they are seriously gorgeous and the quality is outstanding.

i also agree with lynnie, european sizing can be a bit tricky. i definitely think going up one size from the standard conversions most people use.
