I used to be a luggage rep so I may be able to help. If you go to a small, independent luggage store, they should be able to monogram whatever bag you choose (as long as you buy the bag from them). Not sure what city in MO you are in but here are some independent shops in MO:

Passport Luggage

Landmark Luggage

Kaehler

I would suggest the brands Tumi, Victorinox Swiss Army, or Briggs and Riley as all of these make high-quality bags that will last.
