so i've been "outed"...

ok so too many people "in real life" know about my relationships column for me to continue writing it.  and if i kept writing it, it would be boring because all the juicy stuff would have to be filtered out.  i wrote one back in july but D hasn't posted it yet and i have a feeling that one will probably be my last.


i'm not really sure when D would need the column (especially with everything she's dealing with right now) but i felt like i should put the thought out there so whoever wanted to do it would have a lot of time to think about it.


so i was wondering, would anyone like to take my place?  dizzy?  kenzie?  blubirde?  maat?  ico?  anyone?

I'd love to, but I'm overcommitted as is since I already write for the site and am working on some freelance design gigs. I'd be willing to do a guest column from time to time.

Thanks for thinking of me! However, I would end up outed within a week. My stories are pretty distinctive and I end up telling them to a lot of people, so yeah, there would go my dating life. Not that I really have one. Oh yeah, and my life is boring about 99.9% of the time. I'd have to dig up stories that are old but good, which there are a lot of...Hmm...tempting, but can't do it.

esquiress, I appreciate your effort to remedy the loss of your column.


If anyone is interested in contributing a column, you can contact me at stylethread@stylethread.com.  Not all contributions are accepted, as not all writers are right for stylethread.  I may also not continue including a relationship column, but I'm not sure yet, as I've just learned of the loss of esquiress' column in this post and have yet to make a decision.


I am planning on getting the July/August issue out this week, and everyone can look forward to reading esquiress' final column at that time.

oh dear, i wrote out this long pm re: my decision, i didn't mean for you to find out in public before getting the private message!  i sent it sunday when my best friend and i were talking about the situation and as soon as we came to the conclusion that i couldn't write the column anymore, i pm'd you.  of course, i fully support any decision you make regarding the stylethread magazine and if there is anything else i can do to help ensure its success, please say the word and it will be done!

I just went through all my PMs and I haven't received one from you since the beginning of July.  No big deal, esquiress, this helps explains your assumption in your post.
