I got outbid on the gucci ones, which somehow made me irrationally annoyed, so that now I am considering spending twice as much on another pair... But I have to say, these are more unique and more my style. I will think about it for a while.
ETA: maybe I should try them on in real life. They're pretty tall, so not really helping my whole "take it easy on my feet" initiative... if they feel uncomfortable then I won't want them anymore.
Really nice, but do you really want them more than something else for fall? You are in the city, right? I just don't buy nice shoes really anymore now that i live here- I feel like coats, boots, sweaters and bags are just more useful. Personally, I'd rather spend that chunk of change in a different area, or on a couple of things if that was my fall budget.
I'm considering buying just one pair of more expensive shoes this fall ($300-$400) rather than a handful of pairs at around $100, so I'd totally be supportive of blowing your shoe budgegt on one pair.
they're beautiful and so versatile... I don't know that I would spend my entire budget for fall on them, though... do you have some specific pieces you want to buy that will stretch what you already have in the way of fall/winter clothes?
