This dress: keep or return?

I bought this last week from the shopbop sale and it arrived yesterday:



It's super cute, soft, and fits great.  But I'm having two issues with it:


1. it's a little sheer - not too bad but enough that I noticed it.
2. I have no idea how to wear it - can I carry it into fall?  Which shoes could be worn with it? 
Any outfit ideas?  


Argh!  Should I send it back?  It was marked down to $80, which is pretty good for La Rok.

I think it is very cute! What if you put a black patent corset belt with it and wore black tights and tall black boots? Very mod!

I'd keep it and wear nude underwear underneath.


Lucky did a feature with a white dress. They layered a black turtleneck, black tights, and black boots with it. I think that would be a good way to trainsition that dress.


I also see it with a simple denim or leather jacket and brown flat boots with some chunky necklaces for effect.
