I'm looking for a few basic long or 3/4 sleeve shirts for casual fall outfits.  I've seen a lot of women sucessfully pull off wearing a thin long sleeved shirt under a polo or other short sleeved shirt.  Sometimes I think it's really cute and other times I think it's a little too "young" for me (I'll be 28 in Aug.).  What do you all think of this look?  (I tried to find a decent picture, but so many sites are blocked from my office!)

I tend to think it looks a little young, too. Which stinks, cause I agree it's cute. I will wear it when hiking or doing something outdoors, but not typically as an everyday look. JMO.

i'm turning 28 in september, and i really like this casual look in the fall.  usually l'll layer a long sleeve petit bateau tee under my lacoste polos, and i don't think it's too young for our age.  however, i do try to stay away from layering with a tee/undershirt that's too cutesy, like those fruit/flowery printed ones ... i think those are definetely too young for me.

I'll be 27 on Saturday (eeeeeeeeek) and I wear this look alot. I don't think it's too young. I love layering, especially in the cooler months b/c I hate being cold, but I'm not much for chunky, wooly sweaters. I'd much rather wear a thin l/s top over a sleeveless top or s/s top with a cardi on top.

I think when done in the right colors, it can be age appropriate. I like the look with earthier colors more anyway.

I dress like I'm 15 even though I'm 21...so I may not be the best person to take advice from.
