In the quest to replace the Chanel 5030s (I miss them and looking at this pic I totally miss my old highlights too)

I tried on these Gucci 2563s and bought them. I'm not normally a Gucci girl. Heck, I'm not normally an Italian designer girl in general...I tend to prefer French and British designers (the Italians are either too sleekly minimalist or too sexy to me). As a lifelong Chanel whore, it's kind of weird for me to actually like something Gucci.

Okay - I'm going to present the other side.  I think the Guccis look pretty good, but I still think the Chanels looked better.  I like that the Chanels sit a little higher on your nose and the top of the frame is right at your eyebrow.

Nordie's Anniversary sale...they had the sunglasses in-store but I noticed they weren't online.


You girls are some enablers! I was actually ready to return them because I wasn't sure if it was ok for my eyebrows to be peeking out the top. I hate my eyebrows, but that's a whole other story. Now I might keep them. We'll see how I feel about them in a couple of weeks.

Oh this post makes me sad too, I too was a proud owner of the same Chanel pair and left that at a Hotel who claimed they didn't find them!

Now back to the post, the other pair of sunglasses I own are a older pair of the Gucci's in that same style, so seeing how we seem to like the same style keep them I love mine and have had them for over 3 years.
