Hm. I don't think she actually looks that bad au naturel. And at least she's smiling for the pics - I'd be cringing if I got snapped sans makeup! She does look totally different though. Amazing to think how much makeup she must be wearing regularly.

it made me happy too.  i mean, not that she looks horrible or anything, but she certainly looks normal rather than "i'm a hottie."  well, maybe she looks a little horrible.

Yeah, she looks really different.  I think sometimes we forget that even celebs look like us normal folk without make up/lighting/etc.

makeup is transformative.


she actually doesn't look terrible sans makeup. she's not uber-gorgeous, but she's not absolutely horrid or anything. i think her heritage is more apparent w/out the cake-face and i can def. appreciate that.

Definately!! She actually looks like my aunt a little...mexican with freckles and light auburn hair.  I think this is justification for everyone to know that celebrities look normal too.  Heck I'm sure we can all look like movie stars when we get dolled up!!

I really want to see one of these side by side with one where she is all dolled up. I didn't even recognize her at first! I just want to show them to my DH and be like "SEE!!!!! Look what a HUGE styling team can do to someone!!!" If you put a pic of Orlando Bloom in a movie next to Orlando Bloom in real life, he's Orlando Bloom!!! Hollywood women are so overdone!!!

yeah, she still looks pretty good.  her skin is unevenly toned, but her teeth and her eyebrows still look perfect.  but this picture makes me happy because my skin is kind of like that too and I don't wear makeup every day, it makes me feel better being reminded that red carpet perfection is not an everyday reality.

I actually think I'm starting to like her just a bit now! She looks much more fun and friendly than she usually does.
