I foolishly tried on some True Religion Joey's, just you know to see if I liked them, they can't be that great right? Well they were, and now I really want a pair. I have found some on ebay for $80, and $10 shipping. The seller is a member of honest forum, and does participate on the sight. They only have sold 5 items and don't have millions to sell, all buyers have been satisfied. I have asked some questions and they were very cooperative with responses, and pictures. And they have a 7-day authenticity return policy. All of this seems promising. But they are not new with tags, due to an irregularity in the fabric, I wanted to see if you thought it was really noticeable

and ask if they looked authentic (as I have only tried on one pair and haven't seen many on people)

and do you think since they dropped their price $10 when it didn't sell last time I should wait it out, or take the deal and run with it?

This would be the most I have paid for jeans for like $20. Keep in mind I love the wash, the flap pockets, and rainbow stitching.

Any advice?

I am surely not the one to ask about fakes - but if your question is about the irregularity of the fabric - I don't understand what is wrong with them. Even with that close up picture I don't see it - so I'd have to say if you have to point it out that it's not noticable. But maybe it's just me.

Personally, I wouldn't do it. If it is too good to be true (and at that price, I would say too good), it usually is.

I have bought one pair of jeans off ebay and they were fake fake fake. I will NEVER do it again. It is way more worth it to buy them in the store and KNOW that they are the real thing and that they fit.

If there are irregularities in the fabric, they might not fit your body like the ones you already tried on. And saying that there are irregularities is just another way to cover up a fake.

hmm. I don't like the term "irregularities" in the fabric. That could mean many different things such as color problems, sewing problems, fabric that will not hold up as long - ie fall apart easily or rip.

I would caution against buying for that price. I would watch shopbop, revolve clothing, neimans, nordies, saks for those jeans to go on sale. They always go on a decent sale.

Is the irregularity cause of the rainbow stitching being all crooked?  Cause I think that's a little distracting and kind of obvious.  I'd pass.

FYI- pretty sure these will be on sale at Nordstrom's starting this Friday- although they will be more that $80, I think it's worth it to pay a little more and be happy w/the quality and not be worried about the authenticity...
