LV Lovers!

I go to London is less than two weeks! And I want to buy some LV while I'm there. I just want something little since I'll want money for other things as well.  I just want something where I can look at it and say "oh, I got that when I was in England," ya know? Plus, it's slightly cheaper there. Please help me decide what to get. Thanks ladies!

But in pink, not green:

But in black, not white:

This color or navy blue:

The scarf on the bag:

Fringe scarf (couldn't find a better pic)

be careful of the exchange rate. Ihaven't been there in a while ,but I was looking at LV when I was and it was a LOT more $$ over there.

I agree with the other girls about the exchange rate, I got a burberry bag when i was over there, and I know I paid way more than it is in the states.  But at any rate, I would go with the pochette.

According to the pound to dollar thingy I found online, things are cheaper. Like the wapity is about $10 cheaper. Not a lot, but still...

Okay, so I wanted to see to be sure (maybe I'm doing this wrong?). When I use a pound to dollar calculator, it takes the pochette from 140 pounds to 257 dollars. In the US, the pochette sells for $280 so it is cheaper. Or am I doing it wrong?

The most popular online converter is www.xe.com

And it says 1 dollar is only 0.54 british pounds.  With this being such a poor conversion, it should make things alot more expenive.

Jen, it probably is cheaper. I know some stores, like Harrod's, allow you to get your VAT  (Value Added Tax) back if you spend so much - I want to say it's something like 100 pounds, but I'm not positive. The VAT in the UK is something crazy like 18%, but I think you can get back to 11 or 12% back.

ETA: Jen, you are correct - 140 pounds is equal to $257. I usually use CNN's currency converter.

Either the pochette or the red bracelet...I prefer the red bracelet only because I already have a logo LV purse and kind of feel that having too many of them gets redundant after a while.
