Could these shoes be worn in the fall?
Permalink Closed

I bought them in Black a few months ago and haven't worn them yet. I was thinking I would try to return them unless you girls think that they could be worn in the fall. I guess I'm afraid 1. they are too trendy (wood sole, grommets etc etc) 2. they are just too summery.

Please help! TIA! (sorry for the huge pic)

I got those in the bronze color pictured (based on your recommendation) and I have gotten a lot of use out of them.

I think that if you haven't worn them yet while it's warm, you probably won't wear them in the fall when it's cooler. Plus if you think they're too trendy you're better off returning them.

In answer to your question, I dont think you could get a lot of use out of these in the fall.  Like you said, the wood and grommets make them seem very summery to me.

Unless you're going to start wearing them right now and really get good use out of them the rest of this season, I would return them.  hth.

I would wear them up until maybe October, but in Los Angeles it's still in the 60s/70s by then.

I don't think you'll get as much use out of yours since you're too far North.

i think you should return them.  if you haven't worn them in the spring/summer when it's easier to make outfits, then i feel like it will be harder to find outfits in the fall.

Yeah I wear my shoes like that pretty much year round but I'm in Texas where It barely went below 70 all of last winter.
