Does this jacket work w/ this outfit?

This is probably more of a poll or a threadstyle, but please help me out... Does this white jacket work w/ my off white outfit? I need the jacket cuz the shirt is a tad seethrough, if it doesn't work I have another shirt I can wear (it's my outfit for work tonight at the restaurant so need honest opinions quickly, please!).

They July Lucky advocates mixing cream and white. I actually think it's a fresh look, but I'd rather see the outfit with a white skirt or wide leg pants.

ETA: I agree with Kitty about the shoes cutting you off with the skirt at that length...could you wear your Marc Jacobs ones instead?

I think with different shoes it could work - currently you're being broken up a lot by the pieces. The wrap on the shoes cut you off at one point, and so does the jacket.

Ditto.  I think brown, tan, or cream sandals or slingbacks would work a lot better.

I was going to say I love it because I thought the jacket looked baby blue until I read the it was white.  So it comes off a tad bland.

ITA w/Kitty.  I really like the outfit, but the shoes are throwing me off.  I say w/the right shoes it will look great!  Maybe repost w/some new shoe options?

Thanks for the honesty ladies (a little too honest on the shoes since I only brought an extra top, not an extra pair of shoes, but I needed comfort more than style so no MJs tonight ). I have a brown top I will wear instead. Hopefully no one will look at my feet.

I think the shoes are cute, they just throw off that particular outfit. Sorry!

Oh no, don't be sorry! I wore my MJ pumps last week and we ended up being the busiest we've ever been AND we were short a hostess so I had to seat everyone by myself. After that night & the seering pain my feet experienced, I vowed not to wear shoes that have the potential to hurt me so badly. Unfortunately I couldn't seem to find ANY outfits that looked particularly good w/ my comfy shoes this morning so this is what I ended up w/.

I have these shoes at home and I don't live THAT far, would these help? I'll take more pics when I go home... dunno why I'm stressing so bad about this! I guess cuz I have no more F21 dresses to wear, maybe I should head over there!!
