I think you might be able to get a play by play info on the world cup website, but I dont know of any sites to actually watch it live.
If it helps any, you didn't miss much, Brazil did not play like themselves, they were so sluggish and ronaldo didn't really even run. I hope they play better in the next game. I think ronaldo is just out of shape or something, because I remember last world cup, he was awesome.

I sometimes see them on espn2 in the evening being replayed, if that helps at all. Although I never think its the same, especially when you know what the final score is. If I miss a game I usually just end up seeing the highlights and the goals scored.

If you log onto espn.com there is a section under the world cup that says "live" and there is a real time game tracker that says the major plays and has a little diagram of the shots on goal. It is a little delayed, but I have had it on my computer all week...I am a little obsessed :)
catching on this thread a little late but if you go to the fifa site off yahoo there is a play-by-play that's in almost real-time. i have been using it at work and sometimes i'll turn on the tv near me (which is supposed to be used for cnbc or cnn!). it's really fast and there is not shuttering. there is also chat.
