Don't go crazy looking for the current July issue, you probably haven't received it yet or it's sitting in your mailbox. I think this month is the latest I have ever waited for their issue. I know Lucky is always late compared to my other issues, but it's usually here by the 6-7th. As of today I still dont have it!

My July Lucky just came yesterday but we were gone for the weekend and just got back so haven't had a chance to do anything more than just flip through it yet.

I do this almost every single month. It's so annoying..subscriber's should get the magazine BEFORE it's on the racks. It's now June 11 and I still don't have mine. I don't think I'll re-subscribe..I'll just buy from the stand.

ITA. I used to get mine every 6th of the month or so, but for the last few years I see it at the grocery store, at B&N, etc. And I wait a couple more days after that, and it still doesn't arrive...so I buy it. SO annoying. I am not re-subscribing either.

I typically subscribe to my mags for at least 2 years at a time. You'd think loyal subscribers would at least have the privilege of receiving the mag before the rest of the general public. Grrr.

When I subscribed one issue was 6wks late and one never arrived at all I canceled and buy it on the stand now.

And for the record I have subscribed to so many magazines and yes they all arrive in my mailbox a tad later than they arrive in stores, but no other magazine has been as lame as Lucky with the late (or non-existant) delivery schedule.

I subscribe to a few other magazines and I usually get them a day or two before I see them on stand's or around the same time (maybe a day or two apart)..I just dont think the difference should be WEEKS. It makes no sense.

Does anyone subscribe to Shop, etc.? I have always browsed it while waiting in line at the grocery store and usually thinks it sucks..but I have to say the most current issue is pretty good. I really liked their handbag/shoe layout.

No...I find them to be inconsistent (for me, at least) and don't want to pay the subscription to only have a few issues I really enjoy.

One of my friends subscribed and told me she's been really disappointed overall.

I subscribed when it forst came out and my subscription just ended. I liked the first few issues but it has mostly sucked since then. Like atlgirl said, not worth it for only a few good pieces/articles now and then.

I haven't even bought the latest Lucky yet but I did come across a 20% off code for active endeavors. The code is "celebstyle". I haven't tried it myself but I hope it works.

I hadn't heard of Shop, Etc. till coming on this forum. I picked up an issue and liked the looks of it, then subscribed. So far I haven't been impressed, and I won't renew my subscription. I agree with the other girls... it's very hit-or-miss. Plus I don't care about the home or beauty sections, so I barely look at most of the magazine.

I just wanted to mention something SHOP ETC does that I find very sneaky...In may I bought the issue w katherine Heigl (sp?) on it, then a few weeks later I was at B&N and saw what I thought was a new issue 'cause it had a different cover...well normally I don't think twice, when I see a new cover on a mag I snatch it right up 'cause i'm a magazine junkie.

Well because shop etc is so hit and miss I decided to peruse it and i'm like "wait these articles seem kinda familiar." So it was the exact same issue with a generic cover (no celeb on front). Now I know Bazaar does one cover for the newstand and one cover for subscribers, but two different covers on the newstand? Jeepers

My guess is that Shop, Ect is doing some marketing research to see whether or not a celeb on the cover increases their sales. I noticed this, too. I think that they've done this with the past few issues.

Ahh, okay. I prefer it w/o celebs, I think it makes the mag "different." And can I just say is Milla Johovich related to someone at Lucky. It feels like she's on the cover every six months and I just don't get the appeal.
