I picked up my DVF dress, does that count?


The shoe selection sucked, but that was probably because I was searching for flats and couldn't find anything I really loved. I did find one COMFY pair from Clarks that was really cute but it was 1/2 size too small and purple (I need shoes in blues, greens, and metallics more).


I did buy a pair of Valentino sunglasses for $79 but will probably post about them later because I need advice on whether to keep or not.


LA Ladies, I was at the Nordstrom at the Grove.

I was there over lunch today and I was disappointed. I was looking for dresses and suit pieces, and there wasn't a lot to choose from, although I did find an a-line suit skirt, which is almost impossible but not in my size. (I have to mention the sales rep. was super nice and is getting 2 in different sizes brought in so I can try them on and get one that fits - very cool.)


But they had some cute skirts on sale in the $20-30 range that I would have pounced on if not for the expensive suit piece I'm going to buy next week.


No good on the jewelry or shoes though.

i don't have a nordstroms near me, but i waited and waited and stalked this skirt for it to go on sale and now that it has, all they have left are 24 and i need a 28.  i am so bummed.

Tashina: is that skirt called the Nakita Stretch Denim Skirt? If it is, they have it on sale for $99 on www.intermixonline.com-- not in your size but a 24, 25, 31, 32. Maybe you could get a bigger size and have it tailored?

Does that seven skirt run true to size? Ive never tried it on, but want to order it. How does it compare to other seven jeans you own?


 


ETA:  I just used live chat on Nordstroms, and they found a 29 for me, they said 28s are all sold out in all nordstrom stores in the Nakita wash, but they did find some 28's in the haviana wash.  I wanted the nakita so hopefully it fits, a 29 is my true jean size, so im hoping it works.

didn't really see much.  The shoes were bleh and the Saavy & TBD department was all really picked over already.  I think i prefer the Anniversary sale better than the 1/2 yearly

I just did the same thing, thanks for the tip nicoley! I'm so excited, the sa in Washington had no clue what was going on, the skirt wasn't on sale there, but she did a price match!

The 7 skirt fits TTS - I have it.  I bought a 27 and always wear a 27 - HTH someone.
