Kitson and Intuition are both in my bad books of worst LA boutiques that everyone thinks celebs shop.

I just hate the disorganization most of all. Oh wait, I think I hate the stock more. So much tackyness!

I only kind of like the shoe section...at least you get to see shoes from across price ranges and can compare them at the same time.

i agree, it's not my favorite place to shop, especially on that block.  madison is right next door and i like it so much better.  and nanette lepore across the street is a fave of mine as well.  my friends love sky and lisa kline on that same block but i've never bought anything from either store.  as for kitson, it's where i got my kooba sienna so i'll always be grateful for that, as well as for this adorable ashley paige swimsuit i have, but aside from those two items, i don't have anything else from kitson.  they did have this really pretty mandalay dress i passed on because mandalay's kinda overpriced, imo.

kitson is ridiculous. for a while they had a bouncer standing outside the store and a line of people waiting to get in. so obnoxious!

they do have some cute items though. agree w.lilykind about the shoes. and i like their non-clothing gift stuff in the front. but i generally avoid the store at all costs.

eta: the store takes in something like $10m a year in revenue!

i used to go there when they first opened, before the whole expansion and celeb/tabloid invasion.  surprisingly, they used to have really friendly sales people and lotsa unique accessories (i bought a leather cuff there made from a vintage gucci purse and have never seen it anywhere or on anyone else).  but now that it's overblown and over-hyped, i hate going in there.  actually, i really dislike shopping at robertson these days.  imo, there are much better places to go in LA to get the same kinda stuff.  i don't need to deal w/attitude just cuz i'm not a celeb when i'm shelling out major $$$ for overpriced clothing.

I'm starting to agree. I'd rather shop on 3rd st. (Los Angeles) or Montana Ave. (Santa Monica) over Robertson. It used to be cool, but now that every single celeb/paparazzi event seems to be on Robertson, it's just annoying. It's also one of the only places where I feel like I have to dress up to impress the SAs or something.

I do like a lot of the other boutiques on Robertson like Diavolina, Madison, Curve and Maxfield Bleu, plus I adore Campers. It's just too bad that a store like Kitson is spoiling the rest of the block.
