i sold some shoes on ebay. my auction said payment within 5 days, but i'm not a stickler. a week after the auction ends, i haven't received payment so i send her an message along the lines of i want to ship your stuff out please let me know when you're going to pay (but much nicer). no response. so i open up a no-paying bidder report. again no response. i'm annoyed so i just relist the item.
so today i get a paypal payment for her. no explanation for the delay. and i can't end the new auction b/c people have already bid on the shoes. what do i do?
I've never had to do this, but can you just give her a refund? or will that cost you? If it does, I would just take it out of whatever you refund her. It's her fault, completely. Tell her that if she wants them, she'll have to bid again and pay promptly.

i agree with tara. just refund her with an explanation saying you were leinant (sp??) with her by giving her more time to pay than stated in your auction and since she didn't respond to any of your emails that you relisted and some one else won them too bad.
i'm definitely going to refund her money. my question is after i do that, would i be a total bitch if i still left negative feedback? i'm just so annoyed b/c i would totally have accepted late payment if she had just emailed me and said i'll pay you on x date. i emailed her through paypal asking if she got my other message and she was like yeah. arrg! why didn't she respond then. stupid people.
