The bf and I are going to Sea World at San Antonio June 10. No surprise,  I do not know what to wear. I was hoping you girls can give me a couple of ideas. There is going to be a lot of walking. I want to go go comfy, but I also want to look cute. I don't know whether to wear a jean skirt, cuffed denim capris, linen khaki capris or something else. I need ideas on tops and shoes. I think I rather go buy something since I'm not really liking anything I have. My casual clothes suck! TIA

i would do a tank (not white in case you get wet), shorts or a denim skirt and cute accessories/shoes, and a bag that can be slung across your body.

Does Sea World have rides?  If so, I would stay away from wearing a skirt just because it may be awkward getting on and off rides...

Well....since I live here I figured I could help you out!!!


First of all it will be HOT!! I went for Spring Break and I wore my flip flops which is usually ok for most rides just as long as you take them off or you sit on them. If you can try not to take a purse. But if you do need to then a small backpack will do.


The cuffed denim capris or shorts would work perfectly and I think a tank top would be best.

ranchera20, did you wear flip flops? Did you get tired with them? I went to SW long time ago. Why do you advise not to take a purse. I thought there is not a lot of rides just shows.

Yes wear shorts or a skirt.  no capris or jeans.  it will be hotter than heck there!!  Not sure about flip flops but maybe some cute tennis shoes for walking around.  If you find a cute back pack that is small let me know.  I am on the look out for one.

I wore flip flops last time I went. But I made sure they were my comfortable ones so I didn't get tired at all with them and I was there from around 8 am to 7pm. Well you could take a purse if you want to I just dont like to be worried about not losing it or carrying it around.

I think you will be perfectly fine with shorts or capris.


I wore my black flip flops that I bought at Kohls about a year ago. Dont know if that will help you out though. Pretty much any flip flops that I own are very comfortable. Most of mine are from Old Navy
