Call me stupid, but what exactly is a pre-sale? Do you put an item on hold at the store and then you're able to buy it for the sale price when the sale starts?

that's exactly what it is.


i'm so giddy...i'm waiting for the sa at the nyc store to call me back. he's checking to see if the bag i've been lusting after forever is part of the sale.  i'm really hoping that it is b/c it's been out forever and totally should be mine.
