Face Moisturizer for super dry skin

The moisturizer that saved my skin from being a dry, flaky nightmare was Origins Urgent Moisture. But recently I switched to Shu Uemura Deepsea Therapy Recovery Cream. Quick story about the Shu Uemura:

About a week after I first tried this, I went to a dinner party at a friend's. It had been a while since she had seen me. A couple weeks later, one of my other friends told me that the hostess asked her after the party if I was in love. She said my skin was glowing and vibrant. I wasn't in love with a boy at the time, but after hearing that I fell in love with the moisturizer.

I use Olay cloth facials and moisturize with regular Olay moisturizer then use Agnes B complexion enhancer for a little color/glow.

Are you have a reaction to what you are currently using? I did switch to Olay SENSITIVE skin with the vitamins and sunscreen but it made my face sooo dry, and I kept putting more on to moisturize the dryness without realizing the moiturizer was actually the culprit!

Ooh! Definitely want to try that if it makes you glow like your in love!

I have VERY sensitive and dry skin. I can't use the shea butter - it makes me itch. The only thing I have found and I have to always go back to is "The Skincare" line from Shisheido. I use the different lotions & creams depending on the weather but it immediately makes my skin feel more supple and feeds the thirst! HTH

I get it at a shop in Chicago called Endo Exo Apothecary. I know I've seen it at a department store, but I can't remember which one. I'm thinking Saks. You can also order it directly from Shu Uemura

I second Shiseido...I loved how soft my skin felt when I was using their products.

I also really like Biotherm's moisturizers. Pricey, but I'd get the girls at Sephora to give you a sample to see if you like it.

Make sure your cleanser is not too drying too. Purity Made Simple is a great cleanser. It's doesn't leave the skin feeling tight.

I only apply moisturizer in the morning, im thinking i should be using something at night too?

yes, use something at night. I like hope in a jar or C.O. Bigelow Delux Facial Moisturizer.
