cute ballet flats?
Permalink Closed

i'm looking for a cute pair of ballet flats for spring. (it's still too cold for sandals here in the northeast!)

for some reason i haven't been able to find the perfect pair. i'm looking for brown-ish or neutral, although i'm open to ideas.

anyone seen or have any great pairs?

I'm pretty flexible-- maybe up to $100?

Though obviously I'd rather pay less. :)

I've been looking for brown or tan ballet flats and the only cheapish leather ones I've seen are there from Seychelles:

$68

Other options
nonleather from Urban, $20, lots of colors

dollhouse, $45

Steve Madden has a ton of different ballet flats but they mostly just come in black, white, red, gold and silver, though they do have gray

Jeffrey Campbell $65, black, gray, silver, gold

I actually kinda like the $20 Urban ones.
Do you think they'd look cheap IRL?

Yeah lookswise those are the ones I like best. I saw them last year in a bright light blue and didn't think they looked cheap but maybe other colors could. My main problem with them is that I hate wearing non-leather shoes in warm weather and they are also just like slippers with no support at all. Thouh I used to have a pair of Sam & Libby ballet flats that were really similar and they were fairly comfortable, especially after I put in a good insole.

At $20, you can't really go wrong. I'll let you know how they are!
