I'm still having some mixed feelings about it, but I'm getting used to the idea now. We've made some decisions about living there again (living in the city, big nice apt, etc) that make me feel better, since I was afraid of falling into the same numbing suburban lifestyle we originally left. I'm sad to leave our friends here, but we're getting a 2bdr/2bth place so we have room for them to visit, which they have promised to do!
So he got the offer on Friday, accepted on Saturday, and yesterday we gave notice at our current apt and put a deposit on a new one in P-town. We're outta here in just under 6 weeks. I actually already have a good job prospect of my own there, as well .
I told my parents yesterday and my mom said it was the best mother's day present evah ! Hopefully our next move after this one will be to a house that we can stay in for awhile, considering that this move will make our 5th in 4 years!
And now on to the packing .....

Well......cool. I have to assume that if he accepted it is a fantastic offer & opportunity for him - so that's a good thing.
But what is this about a job prospect???? You are supposed to be my professional ST buddy - and though I realize I have taken a job, it actually facilitates my ST use since I'm at home on my computer most of the day.
Just stay true to yourself & who you really want to be. I know for me that would be hard if I moved back near my family, so I feel for you there!

I do solemnly swear not to let any job come between me and my ST ! The job would be pretty flexible, so I could probably work just 3 days a week. The money is good and it only requires a couple short classes, so if I decide I don't want to do it anymore in a couple years I don't have to feel bad about wasting a degree.
I'm going to try my best to avoid the 'Kids' trap - 'what do those kids think they're doing?!'. My parents seem pretty open to getting to know me again as an adult, so I'm sure my worrying is for naught.
