I can never find a good razor-what kind do you like?

Every women's razor I ever tried either cut me or gave me horrible razor burn (those bumps) on my bikini line.  Finally, I tried hubby's and fell in love.  Never have problems even if I shave against the hair.

I love the Venus Vibrance.  It shaves really close, and I never get razor burn or cut w/it.

I prefer a men's razor b/c it gives such a close shave & fell in love with these:

Schick Intuition. I love it. I use it only on my legs and underarms (I wax my bikini area). At first I was skeptical about not using shaving gel/cream, but this gives you a great, close shave with no irritation.

I am the queen of cutting myself shaving, and I love the Venus razors because I rarely cut myself with them but they shave so closely! (but I like the regular ones best, they have Venus Divine and stuff like that, but the ones that are supposed to be "improvements" seem worse to me)

I even bough an extra one plus an extra pack of razors, which I keep at my parent's house. One time I went home for a weekend visit and forgot it, so I bought another, cheaper, razor for the weekend. It was my cousin's wedding, and I had cuts all over my legs. It was horribly unsightly and I went out right away and bought a Venus to keep at home.

ETA: I think a lot depends on the shaving cream too, though. Even with my Venus, if I don't have the right cream I don't get a close shave and I even nick myself more. I actually found that the best thing for me is cheapo conditioner, like Suave or VO5. With every regular shaving cream I buy, I cut myself.

I've tried lots of razors and so far I'm still using my venus. I have gotten less niks/cuts with it than anything else. I signed up for a free quattro (I've read a lot of good reviews on it) from the schick website but it hasn't gotten here yet.

Here is a link that someone else had posted up awhile back and is still valid for a rebate to get a free venus vibrance. I got it but haven't tried it as of yet.

I really liked Intution for a while, then one day I ran out of razor heads so I borrowed a razor from my neighbor. She just uses those disposable Gillette razors and I got a really clean shave, so now I use those and they're ridculously cheap.

I agree.Have you tried the new intuition?

I also use the venus vibrance, with aveeno shaving gel, but I just splurged and bought the shaving cream by benefit, I can't wait to use it!

Gillette for Women Daisy Plus Razors with Moisture-Smooth Strip, Value Pack , 12 razors

I swear these are the best razors ever!  No other fancy ones can compare in my opinion.  And they're so cheap...like $6 for 12 of them.  And I can use each one for about a week (sometimes 2 weeks depending on how often I shave).

My sister won't use anything else!  She loves them because she says they are the only kind that can handle her really thick leg hair/stubble.   They cut me all up though.

i use the mach 3 also.

i have tried a bunch of the women's ones and have never liked any of them.  especially the venus -- it didn't seem to shave my legs close enough unless i put lots of pressure on it.
