i managed to pick up some very nice things too.  i guess i beat the crowds because now i can't access the site to post pics.  when i can, i'll post them.

you made me think that those isabella fiore shoes were on sale.  i went back to look for them because i've posted how much i love them several times, but then i realized that you weren't posting them because they were on sale.  i had a bit of a panic attack over shoes....i need help.

i bought three handbags, no shoes.    that's why i'm going to the store with my sister.  the christmas sale had more good shoes IMO.

Vanessa, when Saks has a sale online, is it also in stores?  I am actually going shopping Mon and Tues and the mall I am going to has a Saks.  Of course, it will probably all be picked over

ladies sorry I've been MIA all morning (cant really go here from work but i snuck in for a minute). 

shopgirl82, I'm sorry about the Fiore shoes!  I'm stalking them so I can let you know if I find out they went on sale (let me know too if you find out).
tigerlily, I think the sale will start today and everything will get picked over.  Some of the stuff will probably remain marked down in-store but will go back reg. price on the site.  That's if history serves me right.  The stuff on sale will go on sale again for sure.  Their biggest sale is in June, so you might want to plan a trip around that time.  When I get more info on the date I'll post it.
cortney1982 I think the reason the saks site is down is a result of all the unprecedented traffic.  From experience, I know that happens almost every time.  Just recently that happened on revolve's website when daily candy had that 30% off code.  But for sales like these I try to shop at night and usually have no problems. 
Collette (you're probably on your way to saks now) :) The shoe selection online was not very good at all.  Let me know what you find downtown.  I wish I could go! 
I'm stuck here till late so it's not even worth it for me to drive from Naperville.

this dress i have been LUSTING over is now $291 from $485......can u believe i just won it on ebay earlier today for $248- i'm so glad i didn't pay more....my max bid was $350....whew
