Hi -


I'm new to posting on the board.  I've been reading the posts for the past several weeks and really enjoy the insight and advice provided!  When it comes to fashion, I feel like I could really use some help.


I have a bridal shower / bachlorette party to attend next weekend and was encouraged to wear black!  This doesn't seem like a difficult task, but I am having problems coming up with a cute, affordable outfit.  I would love suggestions!!

Hmm, let's get a little more information.
Where are you ladies going: restaurant, bar-hopping, house party?
Are you comfortable wearing dresses or could you wear jeans?  Heels or no flats?
Also what is your budget?

Here's a little more info...


The shower will be at a house.  The bachlorette portion of the evening is an out for dinner / comedy club event.  I would prefer not to spend more than $100 and not wear a dress.  Otherwise, I'm open to suggestions.
