Tonight I'm having a girls night w/ my four closest friends. One of them just got back from 6 months of travelling in India and SE Asia, so I'm really excited to catch up.
The rest of the weekend will be about relaxing at home. I've gone out for cocktails every night this week, and I need a break from alcohol. We will probably just veg out and watch a ton of hockey.
Well, I may do some 'light' shopping when I get off work today, as if I need anything else. Joe and I may also go shoot some pool (weather permitting) later on tonight, grab something to eat. Saturday's usually 'clean house' day, so we'll see. Not sure about Sunday myself.

My husband is out of town, so I got a sitter for the girls and I'm going out to dinner w/ some friends at a Mexican restaurant nearby. I think I'll order the biggest margarita they have, step in, and soak for a little while. Yeah, I need a break!
I had a big night out last night and am still feeling it, so tonight I will most likely watch CSI from 7-10. I also need to do laundry and some reading.
Tomorrow morning I have a brunch for kids who are going on my study abroad program and live in New England. Then tomorrow night I'm going to visit my friend at another college where they're having some kind of music festival.
Although it isn't the weekend, on Monday I'm going to go see a band called Harry and the Potters play. Obviously I'm excited.
Tomorrow DH and I have 2 weddings!! But we are excited about the second one because the reception is at the place where we had ours and the food and sweets were Soooooo good and now we get to enjoy them even more because we won't be, you know, the guest of honor!! And we are getting a hotel room so I don't have to be DD!! Sunday we have a b-day party for my DH's bratty 3 yr old cousin. Whoop-d-do. I am hoping to leave that early so I can come home and get some laundry done.
Tonight I am going shopping with my mom and out to dinner, hopefully a cocktail or 2 will be involved.
Well, tonight is a quiet night in - we are trying out a new hot dog joint that opened by our house Sat - going to lunch with friends that are moving away in a few weeks & this is the last chance we have to see them - I have a baby shower at 6 Sun - IT'S MY BIRTHDAY - I have no clue as to what we are doing. We were supposed to go to the zoo but DH has a meeting at 5 so we don't have time to do a whole day in Ft Worth like I want to. So we are grilling something yummy - like salmon or lobster tails - and I hope there will be an overflow of gifts.

Tomorrow we're driving up to DC for a friend's wedding. I'm getting really excited--I get to see a bunch of friends I haven't seen in a long time, so I can't wait. Then we'll drive back Sunday.
I'm a little late -- the weekend already started, but I'll share anyway. Last night I went to a Red Sox game (so fun!), I worked this morning and I'm having a lazy night by myself, and tomorrow I'm doing lots of homework and laundry (not so fun).
Friday I rode with my dad and step-mom to get flowers and flower bed rocks (river pebbles) to finish our flower beds. I was going to go to a Java/Music house but decided against it because I'm really trying to watch my money till I start my summer job and get my last paycheck from the library at school.
Saturday - Breakfast with friends, went to see my mom and color my hair. Worked in flower beds at home, ordered pizza and spent time with family.
Today - covered a ramp dinner (!!) for the local paper. it turned out better than I thought as most things I dread do. I got a pretty long article out of my hour long visit. Drove back to school and loaded some stuff to take back.
I'm putting off studying. I have one more day here and I'm done. Hooray.
Late too, but Friday night went shopping a little and out to eat. Saturday drove up to Dallas and went to see the Yankees play the Texas Rangers in Arlington last night. It was a great game and worth the drive up from Houston. Came home today in time to get ready for work in the morning.
We went to the Black Wax Museum, ESPN Zone, Harbor Place and the Gallery.
