If you remember, I ordered this dress to wear to two upcoming weddings:


Bari Jay Metallic Lace Dress


 


Here's the dress on me (by the way, it came w/straps sewn in and looks much better on me w/straps than w/out).  Can I get some honest opinions?  Do you like it on me? (These aren't the shoes I'll be wearing).

please please please don't take this the wrong way.....


ok, i really really like it, but is big on you?  in the last picture it looks like it flairs out kinda high.  you have an AMAZING figure, but the last pic is bothering me, the way it starts to A-line a bit high...the first one looks like it flares out correctly, so i was just wondering about the fit...

I think you look beautiful too! The colors are really flattering. I agree with shopgirl82 about the second pic, though. Maybe it needs to be taken in a little bit below the ribbon thing? It could just be the pic, though. Either way, it's a beautiful dress.

Oh don't worry, I don't take that the wrong way!  Honestly, that picture makes it look wider than it is on me IRL.  I swear, it's not like that on me when I look in the mirror.  It can't possible be too big on me, because the chest *just* fits and the dress *just* zips.  I ordered a smaller size and couldn't even get the zipper half way up.


The dress does have a very high A-line though, but honestly, it looks much more like pic #1 than pic #2.


Is it ok now?!

absolutely!  it's really lovely in #1, i just wasn't sure which one was more accurate.  i'm so glad you didn't take it the wrong way, i am soo picky with dresses (i blame it on working in retail). 


if your bf hasn't seen it already, he's going to love it!

Whooaa, I love it!  It looks fabulous! 


As for accessories, I would do long dangly earrings and maybe a bracelet, no necklace...black or gold.  Maybe I can find some ideas later
