End of year events..what to wear (longish)
Permalink Closed

OK guys, sorry in advance for the long post.  I have three separate events coming up in a few weeks that I need dressy-ish outfits for: an awards day/luncheon, a mass, and a graduation.  I'm going to wear dresses to all of them just because it's easy and I want to .  I already have some stuff I can use so hopefully I won't have to buy three head to toe looks.

Possibility #1

This dress (it's a sheer brown chiffonish type material over a beige underlayer) with _____.

I need new shoes for this but I can probably use old jewelry.

Possibility #2

This dress (navy mesh-y, very slinky and sophisticated) with ____.

I wanted to wear it with SM Magnolias but I missed the boat and they're all sold out.  I even called around and everything .  So some sort of interesting shoe and maybe a thin belt at the waist (it used to have a ribbon tie but I like it without)?

Possibility #3

-New dress

One of these shoes (these are my comfy heels):

(brown and much less contrast-y IRL)

Leopard d'orsays

or

gold t-strap sandals

So basically I need a pair of shoes for the brown dress, a pair for the navy dress, a dress to go with my shoes or 2 new pairs, and whatever other accessories I can get for about $250 (less if possible but I can go a little over if needed).  I know this is a lot but if you could even just post cute shoes you like, that would help me a lot.  Thanks!

Both dresses are very cute on you! I have #2 and discovered that it actually looks really good with gold accessories. I also tried it with a wide patterned scarf at the waist and that was really cute too.

Could you wear your leopard pumps with the brown dress? It seems like those might work, but I don't know what they're like in real life. Plus those shoes are totally hot.

Then I love your BR dress, maybe the gold heels with it and gold accessories like halleybird suggested?

Then you could get my new favorite dresse from Anthro and wear that with the Mossimo shoes for number 3....
