I sort of asked this a long time ago, but does anyone here have an espresso machine that you accidentally left on all day?  Is this bad for the machine at all?

is it still working? if it's still working, then it should be fine.  before I had an auto shut off on my coffee maker, I was guilty of leaving the coffee maker on all day - even after doing it several times, I never killed one...

Yup it still works okay....I guess I'm worried about any internal parts that I can't see.  For now, I'm going to swing on by my apt. at lunch to turn it off though

Yup, at work now.  I realized I left the machine on the 2nd I opened the door to the office

It should be fine. Most of them have auto-shut off now, but I think that's more for fire safety reasons.
