My latest Anthro purchases just arrived and I'm so happy with them! I'm planning on wearing both the skirt and the jacket on May Day but I'm always terrible at accessorizing. Would these wedges go with the outfit? Any other suggestions for springy/summery shoes?











Also, I'd love to hear any ideas for cute jewelry! TIA!

I like those shoes you picked out, Hedvig.  A big wooden bangle bracelet and some gold earrings would be really cute.

I really like those shoes with that skirt.  I'm not generally a fan of mixing brown and black, but since it is in the skirt, I think it will work.  And I agree with NCshopper about a wooden bangle and gold/bronze earrings.


BTW, what exactly is May day, I mean I know it's the first day of May, but what is special about it?

I'm from Finland and back home we celebrate spring on May Day. I know some older people celebrate it as a workers' day but college kids are the ones who really party it out by drinking like there's no tomorrow.


A lot of people just dig up their spring clothes and take a stroll on the town and sip some mead or champagne, which is what we'll probably do.


Thanks for your opinions, everyone! I love the idea of gold earrings.
