Spin-off to Courtney1982's poll. What was your first new car?


Mine was a 1993 Toyota Tercel, in teal green. I loved that little car, even tho' my Mom had to co-sign on it, I always made sure the payments were made.

The first car I ever purchased on my own was a bright red Geo Tracker. I LOVED that car and wish I could have kept it. It was so fun to take off the top and ride around in the Summer...those were the days!

Awww, my favorite car ever. My 2002 Acura 3.2 TL - it was gold & lovely. I turned it in when my lease was up though since I had lost my job & it was eating me alive. Sigh.

I got stopped the first day I had it for speeding but the cop had mercy on me since he saw the plates were dated that very day. whew.

2004 Saturn Ion in electric lime.  I love it!  It's such a cool color.  I was able to finance it all by myself (it was a close one though since I really didn't make enough income but with perfect credit you can pull strings), woohoo! 


 Just like this one.

Mine was a dark blue Audi A4. I named is Marlena Deitrich, because it was a German car and she made a movie called Blue Angel. Oh I miss that car! I sold it when I moved to NYC.

Back in 1994 when the new body style of the Accord came out, I bought a white one.  Ever since then, I've traded in for another new vehicle every 2-3 years.

last year i bought my MINI Cooper S brand new.  I got to order everything on it special for me and then i got updates direct from the plant in England as it when through the process of being made and the last note i got is when she got on the boat to come over the pond to me!!!


even though i had to wait 6 weeks for it- being part of the process of it being manufactured definitely made it more special to me!

Well, in 2000 the hubby and I had to get him a new car which was a manual Isuzu Rodeo.  It was affordable and the only place that was opened at midnight when we realized there was no reviving his car. We still have it.


The first new car that we actually got to shop for was last year.  We got a 2005 Eddie Bauer Ford Expedition.  LOVE IT!!!
