So, I had this all figured out and then the skirt didn't work and I can't find a replacement under $100. I want a skirt that's fitted and a little flared at the knee.  I've already ordered a Navy Clutch and Navy Hat.  I really would prefer to wear my red shoes. 


Do you think there's a skirt that could work with this color combo???

I wouldn't go with the pink skirt, it would be too much, in my opinion.
I'm going to go look for other skirts now. I'll post with my findings!

I think cropped pants would look really cute, but half the fun of oaks is that all the ladies dress in their skirts and dresses... and aren't you wearing this to a wedding later? would cropped pants me appropriate for a wedding?

I think that cropped pants would look amazing with that outfit for other times, but I don't know about the oaks and the wedding you said you were buying this for

I would prefer a skirt.  But I'm running out of options and the Oaks is next week.  If I HAVE to go with the cropped pants I have a new J Crew dress I could wear for the wedding.

$88 at Nordstrom. $60 at VS.
$50 at VS.
Not easy to find a flared skirt in Navy. XOXO.com has some in other colors, you might want to check it out.

Or what about going a totally different route.  Like maybe this dress (which would still work with your hat and clutch) and then pairing it with your BR espadrilles (you got these right?) or your Aldo natural heels.

and if it is chilly, maybe a creme shrug/cardi or even brown or navy would work.  Just an idea
