The nordstrom rack is right across from k of p, its right next to the best buy, sort of on a hill like.  Im not sure else how to explain it, maybe someone else could give you a better idea.

I definitely think it is worth it, especially if you will be at K of P.  I got a couple of really good buys last time I was there.  But then again its all about when you hit it.

I also like to hit franklin mills for the last call neiman marcus and the off saks, i got some really really good deals there, and they had some really nice stuff, marc jacobs bags cheap.

When im in philly i usually hit franklin mills, k of p, nordstrom rack, and hit downtown shopping.

Im sure the other philly girls will have alot more info for you.

i always found good things there.

it's in the same shopping area as King of Prussia, there's a movie theater to the west, and it's RIGHT next to the movie theater.  there's also a Fox and Hound restaurant there.

my favorite areas besides downtown were:

Mainline area: (about 10 minutes from KOP).

take 76 E towards Philly, then take 476 S/Chester, get off at the St. David's Exit (exit 13), if you go west (left) on Lancaster Ave. there's a ton of boutiques, south moon under (check out their website), and an anthro. in a town called Radnor and a town called Wayne.  if you go (right) east, there's a ton of boutiques in Bryn Mawr and some in Ardmore.

basically it's one long road (lancaster Ave.), with tiny towns within 2 miles of each other.  you don't have to drive more than 2 miles each way to get a town of boutiques.

Manayunk

take 76 East towards the city, it's about halfway between downtown philly and KOP (8 miles i'm pretty sure from KOP).  you get off at exit 338, turn right at the traffic light and you're there.

great for a drink or seven.  it has a couple cute boutiques (I like Bias).

Have Fun.  I'm Jealous.

I'm not a Philly girl but I used to cover that area for work and I always stayed downtown in Center City and have taken in all the shopping.  The mother of all Anthro stores is in DT Philly near Rittenhouse Square.  It is about 5 stories tall and filled with all kinds of Anthro goodness.  Along Walnut Street they have a bunch of stores:  Burberry, Zara (if you've never been, it's kind of like H&M in a way), Knit Wit, Nicole Miller, Tiffany, etc. and also a few very cute boutiques.  You should also check out one of the Stephen Starr restaurants for a trendy scene (gotta love the expense account!)...have fun!

I usually stayed at the Ritz Carlton on a negotiated rate but there is a decent (newish) Hilton Garden Inn near Reading Terminal Market and you can sometimes score deals at Lowe's or the Sofitel (very nice and easy walking distance to all the good shopping!)  on Priceline or Hotwire.
