eek i love them both! the platinum pair seem more versatile to me.. but do you already have several pairs of metallic shoes? do you have any patent leather? I guess i would just see what, if any, hole you need to fill... for me, the black patent would be better b/c i have tons of metallic heels but then only 2 pairs of pumps..

I have the Barbs in black patent but those platinum shoes are seriously hot...I'd get whichever color is available and would fill a hole in your shoe wardrobe.

Black ones don't ship until 5/22, but platinum ones will come right away, so I justify it by thinking by the time I get the black ones, I'll be tired of the platinum!
