This is just my opinion - so please don't get offended...
I am pondering the appropriateness of those shoes for such an event. I like the shoes, they are hot! But I think that is my issue - they are super tall and perhaps too sexy for this event?
Please let me know if I am just way too old fashioned or way to conservative here...but I wouldn't wear them to church. Is this just for a party being held in someone's home to celebrate the first communion or is this the actual event? (forgive me, I am not very familiar with the ritual - i assume it is in the church)
ETA: but to answer your question about dresses....I am loving these...
You have a good point. I think i would feel uncomfortable...........i would need them for mass and then there will be a celebration later, so maybe I can wear them after.
Ill have to think about this some more. Thanks!

I agree that they're too sexy for church. I mean, they are incredibly hot shoes. I think they would look incredible with any of those dresses, but I especially love the grey dress- it's awesome.
I think the shoes are fine for church. If I had them I would wear them. As long as what you wearing is not all flashy. I think you will be fine. I like the dresses Kari posted.
I'm wearing my red one to church for Easter Sunday with my Anthro red/pink skirt (pictured in TS). I think the key is to have a nice, conservative, girly outfit to downplay any stripper/sexy vibe.
