I have a big event (that I planned) at work this week. It's a two-night event for our clients with an awards ceremony, presentations and a banquet. It's not a formal event (the industry that I work in is anything but formal); most clients (and co-workers) will be in company logo clothing. I, however, refuse to sport such a thing. So, here are my two picks for the event (please note--I'm not asking you choose one or the other; I need to wear two different outfits). Thoughts?
I still have to make jewelry to go with this one. I plan to wear a long necklace of some kind.
i really like both. however, i think i might switch the shoes though. i think the red ones go with the second skirt better and the bronzey ones better with the first. other than that...good to go.

The second skirt is actually pink, not red. The red doesn't work with that. And I built the whole first outfit around the red shoes, so no switching there.
Love, love, love the first outfit. Perfect. #2 is cute but doesn't seem like you to me. It needs some color IMO but maybe that's what you're doing with the jewelry?
Yep, that's the plan. A big, chunky, colorful necklace. I agree, though. I'd like the whole outfit to have some more color. I might have to go on a hunt tomorrow after work for something.
I love the first outfit... definitely wear that one!
