You girls may crucify me for this - but I think it's slowly getting better.  It is cheesy, yes, but I thought to myself last night - Beverly Hills 90210 got super cheesy and I still loved that.  I love Ryan w/Sadie and I really hope that lasts.  Him having a talk w/Volchek was really lame though.  I don't think Marissa needs him to save her anymore.

I kinda like that Summer and Marissa are fighting - makes it more interesting.  I had to laugh when Marissa tried coke - what's next?  She's so bad

Anyhow, I know it's cheesy, but I still enjoy it!

Actually, I totally agree with you! The past couple weeks have been much more entertaining. I love that Seth and Summer are getting more airtime, I loved seeing Seth spending time with Kirsten (her alcoholism had been basically forgotten about it seemed, so it was nice to see her talking about it), and I love that Ryan has moved on with someone normal yet not annoying (like Lindsay was). I liked Marissa more when she was a lesbian last year, although it was great to hear Summer tell her to get over herself. About time someone did that! So, I wonder how far down Marissa will go in her "slut spiral" until there's some kind of intervention?

i think it's getting better too.  the main reason i still watched it was for Juju and i want her and Summer's dad to work out soooo bad.  damn Marissa!  i think the Marissa bad girl thing is making it a bit more interesting as is Marissa/Summer fighting.  i thought it was sweet that Kirstin took Seth to the AA group, and once again we get to see the Old Sandy.  My sister and i joke that sometimes the show should be called Sandy Saves the Day.  i think i'm the only one, but i don't like the sadie girl, i wish it was replaced with ryan's pregnant friend coming back into the picture (i missed a bunch of episodes, did it ever get solved whether or not it was Ryan's?).

Actually, you may get your wish.  I just read that she'll be back in April for a few episodes and I think she'll have the kid w/her...

I agree, It is starting to get better. I think they are developing the story lines more. I agree with all the above comments. I just have to add, I love Summer, and I love how they are having marissa and summer fight and when Summer started ragging on Marissa when she said the whole bit about how hard her life is.

just caught it via Tivo. It totally made my night to hear Seth's journalism reference: "way to bury the lead, Summer." LOL! I also thought Summer and Marissa's argument was hilarious. And I have to add, Mischa's acting is much better when she's being bitchy.
