Probably not the answer you want to hear but yes since easter is in april spring break will be going on at least until the week after easter. My school always makes our spring break the week of or after easter and I know some other schools do that too.

Aw crap! Seriously? I bet my *boss* has no clue! We are taking a four year old...we won't even be able to take her to the beach! and I'm sure the hotel pool will be overrun too!

This is going to be miserable! They are neurotic anyway...this will send them into a psychotic fit! I'm not even telling him before we leave...he already spent almost $3000 in airfare + hotel!

Are there any little towns, beaches nearby we could drive to for a little more peace? I think his parents actually live in Ventura, FL...is that better?

Yeah, spring break in FL lasts for about 2 months what with all the tourists. I don't know that area though.

I kind of live near ft.lauderdale and it actually isn't that bad. It was a lot worse a couple of weeks ago. But then again, it all depends whose spring break it is. I think for the most part though spring breaks are getting earlier, so i think you might be in the clear.
