I rarely wear dresses with suck a high neck so I have lots of pendants/long necklaces...not gonna work with this one. I need ideas for shoes and jewelry!

I wouldn't rule out wearing necklaces with the dress, I feel that it needs one.

i love that dress!!!  I want one.  Is it chartreuse?  how much was that at the sample sale and how does sizing run?  Were there any extras left?

I'll have to think about accessories- for me- i'd probably wear it in a grungy MK way, but I'm not sure thats you.

i don't know...i don't like the idea of necklaces with that dress. i feel they might interfere too much with the ruching-like detail. have you tried the dress on with a pair of jeans? straight leg maybe? and then the animal print shoes? i think that bangles might work with the dress, but honestly, it's really hard to picture any jewelry of any kind with the dress. im gonna think about it and get back to you.

eta: okay...gonna try some outfits here...

a bunch of beaded necklaces

DIY Beaded NecklaceDIY Beaded NecklaceMulti Beaded Necklace

then with some dark straight leg jeans

Miss Sixty J Lot Skinny Jean

with some funky shoes

la boqueria heels

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

with the sleeves pushed up to about the elbows or so, some bracelets

Tiger Striped Banglechunky plastic bangle(the white one only)Multi Beaded Bracelets

perhaps with a skinny belt slung really low so as not to interfere with the ruching detail

Double Wrap Belt

and yeah, the skinny jeans again

Miss Sixty J Lot Skinny Jean

with some hot pink shoes to bring out the bracelet color

Miss Sixty Harold Heel

hope that helps a little! the dress is awesome!

what about a vintage locket?  mckenke suggested one for my green dress (btw, it just came in last night--it didn't work w/ the shoes though. the color was perfect but the style was too little house on the praire on me.  sigh.  the search continues...)

anyway, i'm still on the hunt for the kind of locket mckenke suggested, as soon as i find one,  i'll totally call you.

rlutz, my SS, gave me something like this but longer and blue.  so something like that may be fun.

i wouldn't do just gold because it blends too much into the dress.

 i like this idea.

Color Long Bead Necklace

Moschino Cheap & Chic Animal Print Sandal

(it would be a good excuse to get these shoes that i love).

ETA:

you could do a headband.

L. Erickson USA - 3" Scarf Headband - 100% Silk Charmeuse - French Blue and maybe one other color bight color added by way of handbag or shoes...

Frank & Kahn - Pucci Inspired Silk Headband - Pumpkin (1)or a pucci style headband.

The dress is golden yellow IRL, was $50, and runs TTS pretty much (I got an M). I think it flatters curvier girls because they fill it out better. There were maybe three or four left when I went to the sale last weekend, almost all in an M.

I wouldn't rule out grungy MK either...one of the outfits I'm thinking about with is involved black leggings, and my Chanel flats or Converse sneakers plus a newsboy hat. I just need jewelry.

I have to agree with relrel; I almost think a necklace(s) will be too much with that dress. I like the idea of bold, modern earrings and maybe a wide cuff bracelet (I like to wear wide ones over long sleeves, and it looks like that would work with the dress). I do like the shoes relrel posted - fun!

honey, thanks for sharing the lazuli site. I really like some of those designs.
