So, I really really really want the Victoria Beckham jeans, and everywhere I go, they don't have them, plus I don't wanna pay the really expensive price for them. I found a pair on eBay, with red crown pockets, size 27 (which it says is size 4, which is me). I know FP got some, does anyone else have them or know how they run? I wear a 26 in Seven for All Mankind, but that's stretch, and I don't know how much stretch these have. My biggest problem is that my legs are muscular and therefore usually too big for pants that fit in the waist.
PLUS... I'm really worried that they are fake... what do you think?
The seller has 95.7% positive feedback, and of the 7 negatives left, three or four were accusing the seller of selling them a fake item.
Sorry it's so long, but I'm really nervous about buying off eBay, but I really want to!!

I don't know about the Victoria Beckham ones, but I did go up a size in Rock-N-Republic.
Where you able to view the auctions that people claimed were fake? What is the seller ID, I would love to check out the feedback and give you my opinion.
Also, does the seller have tons of the same item? That sometimes is an indicator of counterfeit items. Is the price way too good to be true?
Hey, thanks for the quick reply. The seller ID is mzaya23. And I didn't know that you could view the auctions of the negative feedback buyers. I'll check that out. And it doesn't appear that they have a whole bunch of the same... at least not the red ones. They seem to have a bunch of different Beckhams, but different styles. Let me know what you think about the seller.

I say they are fake. She is selling too many of them and if they were the real deal, I don't think the BIN or starting price would be as low. If they were selling one or two pairs and weren't from NJ I would be more trusting. Also notice she nowhere states these are Rock & Republic jeans, Red flag!

Just curious, what does being from NJ have to do with selling fake jeans?
I hate to be the devil's advocate here, but if girls here that are familiar with the jeans & they can't tell if they are real or fake other than by looking at the auction & knowing the price, then does it matter? I pay more than $40 for non-name brand jeans. Seems like the best of both worlds unless you are getting them for the true quality more than the look.
I do agree with courtney in that it bothers me that she doesn't list them as "rock & republic" & her return policy states none unless "misadvertisement" of the product. I guess you could argue that she has the actually R&R tag in the picture, but the wording seems fishy to me too.

You never know if the picture is of the exact pair you will receive. Could be the old bait and switch routine.
I too would pass over this seller. Just too many questions.
And, it is REALLY hard to tell in a picture if jeans are real or fake...but the minute you get them in your hands, it becomes way more clear.
I got some 7s from ebay, the pics were great. And when they arrived...all the "markings" were dead on, but the fabric was crap and they fit like little boys wranglers!

I totally agree with this. I found a seller on ebay that sells fake True Religion jeans and I LOVE them. They fit perfectly and I will probably buy them from her as long as she is selling them.
Callie, something a "wise one" on Ebay once told me was NEVER buy from a seller whose feedback score is less than body temperature. Easy to remember and saves a lot of potential grief at the same time. Good luck finding your jeans!

Haha good advice. A 95.7% is NOT very good feedback--especially when the person has a lot of feedback. I would say absolutely do not buy unless you don't care if they are fake.

I don't think they're real, but this place has great info on real vs fake jeans. The girls there are fiends...they can tell you for sure if an auction is legit.
