Honestly, can this bag be worn through spring and maybe summer?

I want to say no, but thinking about it you could work it into a real hippie-60's/70's look.  Like the crochet type tops and bell bottomy jeans type look.  That's the only way I see it working outside of winter, because it's kind of snow-bunny looking.

It actually reminded me of the Vikings, and I really don't know why. I agree with Drew - I think it's tough but it could probably be done - the braided rope handle is big this summer too.

ANA is that you?  The bag is not a summer bag.  That is my honest opinion.

It's me!! I know it's not for spring/summer   I just got it and now I feel like it's time to put it away already.  I always find things I like too late in the season whaaa...

Kel, the white trim is made of a fuzzy wool type material (def. not spring/summer).

Whatever, I'll probably wear it through April and then look for something springy

Nah I wouldn't. It looks very wintery, and although I don't believe in Strict Fashion Rules, I don't think it would fit the mood of all the great springy and summery items.
