it wouldnt look stupid at all! You can do that black top or even a red or navy blue.

I don't think it would look bad at all. Last week I saw a girl wearing that top with a white bottom and gold rimmed aviators. She looked so cute. If you're not against a white top, that would look really cute and so would red like ranchera said.

I like white too.

I like the idea of red, but I can't find a red top that I like. I love the J.Crew banded halters and they don't have one in red ( I odn't think). They have a color called Papaya, but it looked more coral to me.

I was afraid it would look mismatched. Like everyone would know that there is a top that is suppose to go w/ it. I am not sure why I care what every one thinks though. Anywwho thanks.

this was my initial thought as well..."where's the rest of the suit..obviously it comes in a pair, what, ya can't afford the whole burberry suit? how ghetto!".

and then the more ive been thinking about it...i think the white/red/black top would look awesome with it. like "wow, who's that girl? she must be super rich to not be worried about the burberry top and bottom being together. i bet she had a pile of clothes and she just puts on whatever she feels like it. how sophisticated that is...i wanna be her friend".

so yeah...i think you would be quite good with mixing and matching that suit. but i would probably keep the burberry pattern on the bottom and use the solid other color on top.
