Ok, last night I couldn't come up with any night outfits to go out in nyc. I don't have ANY sexy or cool tops/outfits for night. I have this problem every single weekend and its just magnified in nyc, where it seems everyone is better at night dressing than day dressing. Can someone come up with a cool outfit that isn't trying too hard or overly trendy? Bonus points if i can wear a bra with it and it isn't too tight in the stomach area (drinking purposes) and it isn't sparkly.
(i own these pants- thats why i used them)
um..and then some jewelry and a cool bag
didn't feel like searching around
anyway, i'm terrible at this!!! i need a stylist, pronto.
okay...i'll give it a shot, but let me first warn you that i have no clue what those fancy people in nyc wear at night. im just going to go with what i would want to wear if i lived in nyc and got to go out at night like all those fancy people on tv and such. oh, yeah, and i am also going to pretend that i weigh about twenty pounds less than what i do. and that i can wear heels for longer periods of times.
eta...i just realized that i use that first outfit in almost every style challenge or some variant of black/red/white and gold. and yet, there is nothing in my closet that even resembles the outfit. hmm, perhaps my inner diva is trying to tell me something? -- Edited by relrel at 12:39, 2006-03-19

you might want to check out this week's stitch (I just published it moments ago - it's an extention of Charlly's "Custom Blend" feature; "Trends to Come")
I would also check out March's fashion features (Angela, Charlly, and Christie put together some fabulous inspirational ensembles this month.)
